kirtan, sacred song, medicine & folk music

blessingways, celebrations & ceremonial sound.

I hold space for all orientations, backgrounds and beliefs to enjoy the simple and ancient practice of group sound. And if you’re feeling some Aretha, well that’s something we could share too.

A long time ago I began my singing journey in opera, and have found myself coming back round to it full circle in a very different context through mantra and the study of Bhakti over the last 10 years with my much loved teachers. Having had to unravel from self-doubt, rigidity and strangling nerves myself, I aim to support people’s relationship with sound from a place of understanding and compassion. Finding our voices can be one of the most profound things we embark on as humans.

Below you can get a feel for some of the spaces I guide sound in; they range from meditative sound journeys, festivals, intimate handfasting and commitment ceremonies, to gatherings for mums-to-be.

I’m an Associate Sound Practitioner with Penny Brohn, and monthly at The Wildbox in Bristol I hold a Sacred Song gathering - which I hold very dear! We have a super welcoming community that comes to share in the cellular bliss that is mantra and medicine song. Keen? Come on in and join us HERE
