Applied Felt Sense Philosophy
Felt Sense Philosophy is a day immersion for teachers in practical ways to explore and share yoga philosophy in movement practices, without the clunkiness - looking at: cueing, language, somatic movement principals, breath techniques, embodied philosophy & how to share more inclusive practices by taking a curiosity-led approach to facilitation.
Living Tantric Philosophy: Yamas & Niyamas
Join us for an exploration of non-dual Tantrik yamas and niyamas - ethical guidelines for living with integrity - in an immersion bringing yogic philosophy to life.
An invitation to unpack and embody these profound teachings through engaged practice and lively discourse that draws directly from Tantrik texts and lived experience. A full spectrum of study, including conversation, journalling, movement, mantra, and more will give you practical and digestible tools to enrich your practice - whether a lover of yoga, or a teacher yourself.
The 10 yamas and 10 niyamas as described in the Śāradā-tilaka ('Sarasvatī's Ornament’) are illuminating guidelines that originated from earlier non-tantric texts, such as the Shandilya Upanishads. They are offered here within a Tantric framework. Fun fact - Śāradā-tilaka is also where the seven-point chakra system is first recorded in writing!
Through the workshop we’ll also be exploring why the philosophy underlying these Tantrik yamas and niyamas may be more suited to us as modern day practitioners, compared to dualistic frameworks like those of Patañjali.
The 5 Vayus - energetic pathways of yoga
An invitation to explore the 5 Vayus through a reflective, curiosity-led workshop of movement workshopping & discussion.
The Vayus being the directional flows, or 'winds of the soul,' which guide currents of energy through the body and mind in different ways, and emerge from the rich teachings of Classical & Tantric yoga philosophy.
Guiding Yoga Somatically
This workshop evolved from a longer training earlier in the year, to go into the specifics of why and how we can teach yoga somatically – cultivating a more curiosity-led approach to holding space for movement. We’ll be looking at some of the embodiment tools, movement techniques and energetic pathways that offer enrichment and support and help us to embody the rich teachings of yoga philosophy in real, meaningful ways.

“If you want the truth, I’ll tell you the truth: Listen to the secret sound, the real sound, which is inside you.”
― Kabir
This is a playful, multi-modality day workshop open to all craving a deeper relationship with the practices of Bhakti, mantra & sound (taught through a Non Dual Tantric lens.)
Restorative & Sound Extended practice
A deeply ground extended Saturday yoga practice with a focus on cultivating spaciousness & surrendering into sound.
