Shiva & Shakti as energetic principles

In this video we go a little into how Shiva and Shakti might be understood as energetic principles coming together to form our experience of the world and existence itself.

In a classical Tantric yoga & NST context, the way of understanding the nature of reality through Shiva and Shakti goes far beyond gender binaries and helps show us the fluid, inseparable nature of all that is.

And so I also touch upon how this can be useful in untangling from their sometimes overly-gendered understanding in the modern yoga/wellness landscape as ‘Divine Masculine’ & ‘Divine Feminine,’ which exist in a sort of heteronormative relationship of activating one another!
