This is an invitation to explore the 5 Vayus through a reflective, curiosity-led workshop of movement workshopping & discussion.
The Vayus being the directional flows, or 'winds of the soul,' which guide currents of energy through the body and mind in different ways, and emerge from the rich teachings of Classical & Tantric yoga philosophy.
We’ll explore how conversing with the subtler energetic currents of the body — Prana, Apana, Samana, Udana, and Vyana can draw us deeper into our own embodiment journey, by showing us the variety of forms a sense of flow can take. We know perhaps from our own embodied experiences of practicing there’s much more to yoga than asana — and the 5 Vayus offer such a beautiful map for navigating that multidimensional territory of awareness. Breath, movement, stillness & sound will all be part of the day and woven with felt sense philosophy – so hopefully a little something for everyone!
Open to yoga teachers and curious practitioners alike - all keen to deepen their understanding around prana, and bring more depth and freedom into their practice and teaching.
I have one 1/2 price bursary space for anyone inspired by this work and who’d like to come but feel restricted by price, please email me to book it (no justification needed ;) )
